BIRTHDAY OF LADY FATIMAH AL-ZAHRA (عليه السلام)
On the twentieth of Jamādi al-ākhirah, Lady Fatimah al-Zahra’ (عليه السلام) was born five or two years after the beginning of the Holy Prophet’s Divine Mission. It is appropriate to practice the following rites on this day:
Observe Fast
It is proper to observe fasting.
Give alms
It is recommended to give alms and offer good things to the believers.
Recite Ziyarah
It is recommended to visit Lady Fatimah al-Zahra’
(عليه السلام) - the Doyenne of the women of this world as well as the world to come - by
reciting Ziyarah
