Supplication of Saturday
allahumma antal waah’idu bilaa shareekin wal maliku bilaa tamleekin laa tuz”aaddu fee hukmika wa laa tunaaza-u’ fee mulkika
as-aluka an tus’alliya a’laa muh’ammadin a’bdika wa rasoolika wa an toozi-a’nee min shukri nua’- maaka maa tablughu bee ghaayata riz`aaka wa an tu-e’enanee a’laa t’aa-a’tika wa luzoomi i’badatika was tih’qaaqi mathoobatika bi lut’fi i’naayatika wa tarh’amanee bi s’adee a’n ma-a’as’eeka maa ah’yaytanee wa tuwafiqanee limaa yanfa-unee maa abqaytanee wa an tashrah’a bikitaabika s’adree wa tah’utta bi – tilaawatihee wizree wa tamnah’nis salaamata fee deenee wa nafsee wa laa tooh’isha bee ahla unsee wa tutimma ih’saanaka feemaa baqiya min u’mree kamaaa ah’santa feemaa maz`aa minhu yaa arh’amar raah’imeen
allhumma s’alli alaa muh’ammadin w wa aali muhammad
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ كَلِمَةِ الْمُعْتَصِمِينَ وَ مَقَالَةِ الْمُتَحَرِّزِينَ وَ اَعُوذُ بِاللّٰهِ تَعَالَى مِنْ جَوْرِ الْجَائِرِينَ وَ كَيْدِ الْحَاسِدِينَ وَ بَغْيِ الظَّالِمِينَ وَ اَحْمَدُهُ فَوْقَ حَمْدِ الْحَامِدِينَ اَللّٰهُمَّ اَنْتَ الْوَاحِدُ بِلَا شَرِيكٍ وَ الْمَلِكُ بِلَا تَمْلِيكٍ لَاتُضَادُّ فِي حُكْمِكَ وَ لَاتُنَازَعُ فِي مُلْكِكَ اَسْاَلُكَ اَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَ رَسُولِكَ وَ اَنْ تُوزِعَنِي مِنْ شُكْرِ نُعْمَاكَ مَا تَبْلُغُ بِي غَايَةَ رِضَاكَ وَ اَنْ تُعِينَنِي عَلَى طَاعَتِكَ وَ لُزُومِ عِبَادَتِكَ وَ اسْتِحْقَاقِ مَثُوبَتِكَ بِلُطْفِ عِنَايَتِكَ وَ تَرْحَمَنِي بِصَدِّي [وَ صُدَّنِي] عَنْ مَعَاصِيكَ مَا اَحْيَيْتَنِي وَ تُوَفِّقَنِي لِمَا يَنْفَعُنِي مَا اَبْقَيْتَنِي وَ اَنْ تَشْرَحَ بِكِتَابِكَ صَدْرِي وَ تَحُطَّ بِتِلَاوَتِهِ وِزْرِي وَ تَمْنَحَنِي السَّلَامَةَ فِي دِينِي وَ نَفْسِي وَ لَاتُوحِشَ بِي اَهْلَ اُنْسِي وَ تُتِمَّ اِحْسَانَكَ فِيمَا بَقِيَ مِنْ عُمْرِي كَمَا اَحْسَنْتَ فِيمَا مَضَى مِنْهُ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
“In the name of Allah” the word of those who hold fast to Him, the speech of those who seek His protection. I seek refuge in Allah, high exalted is He, from the injustice of the unjust, the trickery of the enviers, and the oppression of the wrongdoers, and I praise Him beyond the praise of the praisers!
O Allah, You are the One without partner, and the King without having been made sovereign; no one opposes You in Your decree and no one contests You in Your kingdom.
I beseech You to bless Mu¦ammad and his Household, Your servant and Your messenger, inspire me with a thanksgiving for Your favors that You take to the utmost limit of Your good pleasure, help me to obey You, hold fast to worshiping You, and deserve Your reward, through the gentleness of Your solicitude have mercy upon me, bar me from acts of disobedience to You as long as You keep me alive, give me success in what profits me as long as You spare me, expand my breast through Your Book, lessen my burden through its recitation bestow upon me health in my religion and my soul, estrange not my intimates from me, and complete Your beneficence in what is left of my lifetime, just as You have shown beneficence in that of it which has passed!
O Most Merciful of all those who show mercy!

As for myself, ‘Abbas al-Qummi the author of this book, whenever I address this form of Ziyarah to the Holy Prophet (صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم) I begin with the following form that Imam al-Rida (عليه السلام) taught to al-Bizanti. In this respect, it has been authentically narrated that when Abu-Basir asked him about the most proper form of visiting the Holy Prophet’s tomb and invoking Allah’s salutations upon him after the prayer, Imam Alī ibn Mūsā ar-Riḍā (عليه السلام) answered that he may say:
